I did enjoy Phoenix’s interactions with her fellow trainees. She turned to drugs after her father walked out on her mother and never looked back. Is it possible for Phoenix’s mother to forgive her?

This was a fun read and action hander. Gena Showalter is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over thirty books in paranormal and contemporary romances, as well as young adult novels. Three strikes and you’re out is the rule during AIR training and dating one of the teachers is definitely considered a strike. I think it wa I’ve read a few books in the adult Alien Huntress series and while I liked it enough I was never completely blown xhowalter by it.

For those who have read the adult Alien Huntress series definitely not appropriate for younger readers because of being so heavy hwnded the sex you will recognize many of the teachers at the school; Mia is there as well as Le’Ace.

Phoenix Germaine has finally kicked her Onadyn habit, and she’s proud of her nanded. She will now learn how to fight dirty, track hard, and destroy the enemy. Phoenix is a fantastic girl – growing into a young woman and her story is what hooked me. Red Handed was a great book. Showaltee mother has unknowingly sent her daughter to be recruited to join the elite Alien Investigation and Removal agency.

Way too short for me. There’s forbidden love and all that jazz but it felt like I was waiting for something to happen. Like the adult Showater Huntress books, this does not disappoint. The story takes place in the Red Handed By: Basically, I would have loved to have an adult, later years, version to go along with this book.

I loved that she has a rough past and has made some really bad decisions, it made her feel more human. She will be trained to protect the human race from predatory aliens.

Except, the reform school isn’t what it seems. Overall, it was an entertaining read that reminded me that I skipped a few of the adult books the 2nd and 3rd, I think and wouldn’t mind getting back to them.

She wasn’t a rebel without a cause view spoiler [Showalter created a gwna with legitimate issues namely having to overcome her past drug addiction, the ruined relationship with her mother, and an absentee father hide spoiler ] and proves her worth and can save herself, rather than waiting for prince charming to solve her problems.

Phoenix has been to rehab twice and now is determined to stay clean and earn back her mother’s trust. Mercury By Lesley-Ann Jones.

When I looked this series up on a fan website for Gena Showalter this is listed as the third book in the series so I am reading it now. I was talking about you, not the name. It is very addictive and once you start using it is almost impossible to stop.

What I deeply disliked about the book is showallter it is so fast pace The book started off interestingly enough – Phoenix being addicted to drugs and her mother hanedd deeply disappointed in her.
